More Suggestions - Most important YES on HR 1738

I have been talking to others involved in this issue, and this is what I can provide as some secondary suggestions:

What I think is most important is this so I will put it first. I have been informed that there is a bill in congress concerning all of this:
http://www.unmarriedamerica.org/emancipation/legislation/legislative_watch.htm

Tell your congressmen and senators to vote YES on HR 1738 and to pass state laws regulating these "behaviour modification" facilities.

1) Find stories of others like Zach--so that we can move away from focusing on just Zach, while Zach is certainly important, we have to be careful.

2) Try to broaden your horizions to include reforming/closing all these groups, because while Zach isn't free, there are people in Memphis who are taking action and making progress that we are unable to take or be informed about ( as per the http://fightinghomophobia.blogspot.com blog).

3) Contact these people concerning the issue
Currently watching LIA anyways:

http://www.isaccorp.com

Need to be informed about LIA:
http://www.nospank.net (especially http://www.nospank.net/floggers.htm )
http://www.emancipationproject.org/

4) Be open about where the group should be heading. Don't remain focused on just Zach, try not to spread his name around any more than it is because he is a minor and in a vulnerable situation.

No worries. It hit a nerve with me, too, but I think to prove our issue we also need other stories to prove Zach is not alone.

Absolutely, and as I said in an earlier post.  I think it would be a great idea to contact some former members.  Maybe have them join the fight.  I believe it would be a great help.

Maybe somebody ( who speaks better English than me ) could write a short article asking ex gay survivors to speak out and who to contact . We could then send it to gay and gay friendy websites and ask them to post it .
